ICONIC WILDLIFE
Ngorongoro Crater is often called “Africa’s Garden of Eden” for good reason. Within its lush floor, you can spot nearly all of the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino—in a single day. The crater also shelters large herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and hippos basking in the ponds. Flamingos often line the shores of Lake Magadi, adding a splash of pink to the landscape, while hyenas and jackals roam freely in search of opportunity. It’s one of the most rewarding safari destinations in the world for photographers and wildlife lovers alike.
