These Booking Conditions form the essential agreement between you (the traveler) and Unpredictable Safaris. By confirming your booking, you agree to these terms that ensure a safe, thrilling, and seamless experience.
Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit and you receive a written confirmation from us. Please check all details carefully. The lead traveler accepts these terms on behalf of all members in their party.
Our safari packages, itineraries, and prices are detailed on our website. We pride ourselves on creating bespoke, dynamic experiences. While we meticulously plan each excursion, the very essence of an “Unpredictable Safari” means that routes, wildlife viewing opportunities, and specific lodges may be adapted in real-time by our expert guides to maximize your encounter with the wild, ensuring safety and exceptional moments.
To secure your adventure, a non-refundable deposit of 30% per person is required upon booking. The final balance is due 60 days before your departure date. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
We understand that plans can change. If you wish to alter your travel dates or itinerary, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you, subject to availability. An administration fee may apply, along with any additional costs levied by lodges, camps, and suppliers.
Cancellation by You: All cancellations must be in writing. Charges are as follows:
More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit.
59-30 days before departure: 50% of total cost.
Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost.
Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel a safari for reasons such as operational feasibility, extreme weather, or insufficient numbers. In such a rare event, you will be offered an alternative adventure of comparable standard or a full refund of all monies paid. We are not liable for any incidental expenses you may have incurred.
You acknowledge that an Unpredictable Safari involves travel to remote areas, often with basic amenities, and carries inherent risks. It is your responsibility to:
Ensure you have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, cancellation, and personal liability.
Obtain all necessary passports, visas, and health certificates (including required vaccinations).
Adhere to the safety instructions of our guides at all times. We reserve the right to terminate your participation without refund if your behavior is deemed to endanger or negatively impact the experience of others or the environment.
Unpredictable Safaris shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations if such failure results from “Force Majeure” – events beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, acts of nature, war, civil unrest, terrorism, significant changes in government travel advisories, or pandemic-related border closures.
Travel in wild Africa is an authentic experience. Accommodations, while carefully selected, may vary in remote locations. Road conditions can be rough, and wildlife movements are, by nature, unpredictable. Delays and itinerary adjustments are part of the genuine adventure, and we ask for your understanding and flexible spirit.
Unpredictable Safaris acts as an agent for licensed third-party suppliers (lodges, transport operators, etc.). Our liability is limited to the direct services we provide. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or negligence of independent suppliers.
These conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Unpredictable Safaris. Any dispute will be subject to the laws of [Country, e.g., South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda].
